School Holiday Tennis Camps

The Ponds Tennis Academy is excited to announce that our tennis camp will be running in the second week of school holidays from Monday the 15th of July till Friday the 19th of July. Book for a day, or the entire week! Our camps will be starting 9am and concluding at 3pm.

The pizza lunch will be available to students who book on Friday the 19th of July.

We will be running our camp at our main location at The Ponds Tennis Courts in Jonas Bradley Park.

Our tennis camps will have a main focus on tennis, but we will aim to keep all students entertained with other team sports on our courts as well as access to a playground and field. Check our some pictures from our last camp below!

We want all children off their devices and on the tennis courts, exercising and learning more about how to play tennis as well as score and play matches with an emphasis on teamwork. You can choose to enrol your child for one day, the entire week, or the days that suit your schedule. Click below to register now!

FAQ’s

Will my child be supervised at all times?

Yes, children are supervised at all times throughout the day with the ratio of students to coaches at 10:1.

Does my child require a racquet to participate?

All children must have a racquet when they attend holiday camps. If a child is a first-time player and does not yet have a tennis racquet, we can provide one when notified for their time at camp. We will also have our racquets available for purchase at a rate of $40 per racquet.

Are the camps suitable for complete beginners?

A significant portion of students begin with tennis camps to introduce themselves to the sport. For this reason, students are grouped with other beginners of a similar age. Students can be grouped with their friends if their skill level is similar.

What is the bathroom procedure?

Toilets will be available throughout the camp. Younger students will be walked to the toilets by a coach. Older students take a friend. Male and female coaches will be at the venue, able to get all children to their respective bathrooms.

COVID-19 Policy

The Ponds Tennis Academy operates within the bounds of the current NSW COVID-19 restrictions. We prioritise the safety of our coaches and students. Coaches wear masks when on the same side as the student to ensure safety. It is up to the student if they decide a mask is necessary for themselves during a lesson. If it is within restrictions to attend lessons, lessons will go ahead. In the case that you may be out of the radius of tennis courts, we consider this bounds for a credit for the following term’s invoice or a make-up lesson at a later date. If you are within restrictions but decide not to attend lessons, this is considered a cancellation (terms are described above). If you are diagnosed with COVID-19, lessons qualify as cancellations and will not be provided with a make-up.
